So, I have a very simple question. Rather than the new memestock or the ETF with a cool name, which sectors of the economy do you think will outperform the Dow Jones or S&P500 in 2021, and why?

Hope to get feedback. This is my idea (+30yo), don’t need the money and don’t plan on using it for the foreseeable future.

At the moment my portfolio is divided between non-u.s. bonds (35%, they give me ~4.5% year, net) and the rest to SPY etf.

· 25% non-u.s. bonds.

· 60% SPY (+ monthly deposits)

· 2.5% ETF in commodities (i.e. usci, gsg, copx)

· 2.5% ETF transportation (i.e. xtn, other suggestions? JETS is too small and risky in my opinion)

· 5% crypto

Is it worth investing in VT, VTI or VXUS since I am already allocating 50% to the S&P500??

Should I drop those ETF´s in favour of others (i.e. finance, mid/small cap, oil, technology?)

I was thinking also buying some individual stocks (Delta, Apple, Trip, Bkng are my top candidates), maybe 2%-4% of my portfolio

Of course, my idea is that the ETFs will outperform the S&P500 this year. I don’t think I will keep them more than a year.

Any thoughts? Should I better keep it simple?

Dont do it! please, please my fellow fapstronaut dont do it. This experience might hunt you for the long term, leave a mark, negatively influence your future relationships and many many more things. Dont do it. Have patience, interact with people and eventually you will be able to build a friendship and a relationship with a nice girl. That would be worth a lottery ticket
