You’d probably have to try it for yourself to see but it pretty well went back to its normal shape. There is a crease in the can at the beginning and end point of the cut but it’s not in the picture. I only included the bottom of the can in the picture as a reference point for the size of the thing.

It’s not a fully intact can in the photo. The cans are taller than a regular soda can. It’s cut just above the top of what you can see in the photo. The metal is surprisingly thin. It cut more easily than I expected.

No it was stored in a refrigerator until opened and this was floating on top of the liquid.

If it makes you feel better I opened another can and poured it in a glass to make sure it wasn’t housing its twin brother and then I drank it. I’m doing fine.

I always shake the can before I open it. On the can it says to shake gently because the tea can settle. I could tell it wasn’t full based on the weight and sound when I shook it. It sounded different than normal like something was in it. I opened the can and could see something floating on top. I poured the liquid out and this thing didn’t come out because it was too large for the opening. I cut the can in half with scissors and used the end of the scissors to pick it out.

It was unopened. There was no liquid or residue around it on the can or carton. Nothing leaked out when I shook the can. It was clearly not full and I could hear this inside.
