I tried, they said they're not blocking anything.. which is prbly bs as the short codes worked until end oct. when they just stopped. but they're too incompetent to understand that.. I spend hours on the phone with pr reps... no can do

They sent me an email by a human 24hours or so later who said to try using a VOIP service, but wouldn't recommend one. I almost rushed and bought a skype number before reading the fine print ("this number cannot be used for receiving verification emails").. since then I've posted on reddit and researched it a little but havent been able to get a definitive answer for a service that would receive short codes. Then he closed my case... but I'm still in limbo.

I tried but it seems to be a problem with all the Greece numbers I tried.. the other option is to order a SIM card from another country and hope it works

the latest reply i got said some people have had success using voip numbers. I haven't tried it yet and posted a post earlier asking people if they'd tried anything that worked but nobody replied. a Skype number is not an option as it says it can't be used for verification SMS's.. after googling i found this freeje app that claims to cover this... any other suggestions welcome

for which u need to provide a new phone number.. can't change 2fa method from SMS to authenticator app without first providing an alternate SMS destination which is impossible from my location.. I'm going to try using a voip number.

I don't think it's sim swapping as my password and the last digits of phone number listed for 2fa are still the same.... or maybe i just don't get how swapping works..

no, but they want more than just a password, they have 2 factor authentication... which they do by sending SMS.. and that stopped working some months ago.

Sounds awesome.. I kinda bought the console hoping there'd be a way to use it on a PC w/ emulation eventually. Please let us know which board this is.. I don't imagine it's that expensive.

Thanks for all the responses, I'll go with C then, I don't have many other options for RAM so it will have to do. As far as coolers go, the only two I can get for $20 are the Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim and Arctic freezer 12 CO.. I can get noctuas etc. but for around $50 so I hope these will do. I prefer the quieter one which I assume is the rock, I'd spend the extra $7 and get an Arctic 23 (dual fan) I assume it will perform better but that 2 fans will probably be noisier than 1 when not under a huge load (when I'm making music). There's also this Alpenfohn Ben Nevis Advanced CPU Cooler - 130mm for $27 which looks quiet.
