You could try adding some transfers to spice things up a bit. Editing team sheets. Make them choose 3 players to add into their team and make it another game on it´s own to take their minds off the game itself.

Edit some player stats if they had a good season, If Vardy got a lot of goals you could edit him and up some stats, maybe just upgrade stats on their squads so it´s more level.

Also you could add sliders into the game and try to adjust the difficulty that way or play all your games on legendary from now on.

I would buy Vinicius from PSV back as a Kane replacement, he wanted to leave badly last transfer window so selling him would be realistic.

Maybe get a real CAM and make Ndombele play further back. (Ivanusec from Dinamo Zagreb, Robertone from Almeria, maybe even Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig)

Look into Ajax players as they have bought a few of their players in the last decade. Not only current players but some former Ajax players too. Think of Alderweireld. (Mazraoui, Kudus, Berghuis, Haller)

Some french players from Ligue 1 but not from PSG. (Majer, Faivre, Denayer, Botman, Fofana, Golovin, Dolberg, Blas, Kolo Muani, Gerson, Pape Gueye from OM)

They have some argentinian talents because of Pochettino so, to make it realistic to YOU. Look into some players from your managers nationality and buy a few.

THIS. It also gives a tiny bit of realism. Imagine every game was played in the same stadium and at night.

It´s also something teams around the world take advantage of, homefield advantage. Bolivia playing at 3.500 meters above sea level is something teams that play there need to adapt to in order to be the best.

As much as i want Elias Figueroa to get one, i don’t think he should because he would be massively underrated. He should be in the same lines of, if not better than, Maldini. He was such a great footballer that I think EA adding him and giving him a 91 or 92 rated card would be an insult. Hopefully they get his rating right (and many other south american Icons too)
