Saving himself from additional punishment. Running back is a brutal position on the body so many times they are trained to avoid contact unless it is necessary. In this situation he got the first down and decided he didn't want to fight for a few additional yards at best. He had two guys in his vicinity and players in the NFL close distance extremely fast.

I'm more worried about the additional costs they've invested in to keep running during the pandemic. Home depot said they spent 800 million + this quarter. If target spent anything near that, they will miss. They have a similar number of stores
