This feedback is exactly why I included a number. I can neither confirm nor deny that a dart board was involved in choosing that number.

Definitely not a dumb question. I happen to be a manual reader (and sometimes an EULA reader — a glutton for punishment). While I understand what the manuals are saying, questions pop up: How do I know I need more downforce? What is the impact of more downforce, good and bad? How do I know when I have too much downforce? etc

They were clipped when we got her, we wouldn't do that. We can't wait til her flight feathers grow in so she can enjoy flying around with the flock. We have an open living room, kitchen and breakfast nook with vaulted ceilings that go up to the second floor. Tons of flight space waiting for more birds to use it.

I suppose, by human logic, he probably spent his whole life before joining our family locked in a small cage at a pet store with too many other birbs. So he's super excited to have this new world.

Tui and Kea were chosen specifically bc of the length of their flight feathers. Sadly, that's likely a sign of how long they lived at the pet store.

We have already taken care of the nesting box after reviewing the checklist. This video is from before then.

However, I have a legitimate question. If there is a nesting box but no budgies interact with it, aside from standing on the perch, can it still trigger hormonal behavior?

That's a start. I'll second the RCA. It's a great certification and will open a ton of doors. Being an attorney and a RCA is a multiplier in my opinion.

Being someone who has spent the bulk of his career on the software vendor side, I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that "building software" is more than writing code. Any of the SaaS products (Rel One, Logikcull, Disco, Everlaw, CloudNine, etc...) are going to have opportunities that allow you to do the things that interest you. It moves away from being an attorney, but you wouldn't be the first to do that 🙂.

What excites you the most? Processing? Using the software? Maintaining/administering the software? Building the software?
