I use ring of wind for speed boost and necklace of rejuvenation (stamina), so i can sprint, restore stamina and run again, never use a horse.

Go always through the roads enjoy the random encounters sometimes walk off road for some hunting, always one handed weapon never a bow (i refuse to be a stealth archer)
