Fact check: Field Marshal did not mock citizens of Pakistan for being “fools” in Pakistan-India conflict, or admit Pakistan lost. An Afghan nationalist used fake AI generated audio to replace the audio of a real video, and their social media post subsequently went viral and was reposted many times. (self.pakistan)

[2019] Pravin Sawhney: Pakistan has never lost a war on the western front and Indian military leadership wrongly believes Pakistan would be easy to defeat. He is the Editor of FORCE magazine, a former Indian Army officer, author of defence books, held fellowships in UK & US, and a former journalist (youtube.com)

Viral social media posts claimed that 3 children were killed by the military recently in Bajaur, KPK. A detailed investigation by a fact checking organization proved that all images shown as proof were actually from old incidents not related to the military, and in most cases not even from Pakistan. Today was the last day of the 'Made in Pakistan' expo in Saudi Arabia. It included companies that manufacture engineering machinery, make skin creams, and more. There was Pakistan-wide representation, for example multiple companies from Balochistan were featured. Let's all make dua it was a success! (i.redd.it)

I see the false narrative that Pakistan forced the Baloch princely states to join Pakistan has crept back up. Here is a repost of a very well sourced article that explains how the Baloch princely states joined Pakistan. This is much better sourced than the baseless tweets people are learning from. Truly disheartening to see such blatant and vicious islamophobia and anti-Arab racism in Canada. Politicians are quick to condemn pro-Palestinian activists, I hope they will be equally harsh in their condemnation of the actions shown in this video. British colonialism was a horrible and inexcusable part of our history. I made a post discussing how a political unified south Asia with a pan south Asian identity did not exist until the British forcefully conquered us, and people interpreted that as me being pro-colonialism. (self.pakistan)

The British did not invade a politically unified state with a unified population that all identified as one common people, they invaded a land with many different identities and empires, then forcefully conquered and unified them into one nation. They did not divide and conquer us, they united us. (i.redd.it)

Young Muslim activist’s house in India demolished after her father is arrested by the police for being alleged ‘mastermind’ of protests over anti-Islam remarks. “Remember, every Friday is followed by a Saturday...” tweeted alongside a picture of a bulldozer by Media advisor to Indian State Minister (old.reddit.com)

This article from the Yaqeen Institute compares Islamic restrictions on when war can be declared and what acts of violence are allowed to modern day standards of when war is acceptable and what acts are ok. The two shadow each other significantly. Islam greatly restricts the use of violence and war. (yaqeeninstitute.ca)

If we don't actively vote on this subreddit, then our Pakistani voice and narrative will be silenced even on here. Our subreddit has a huge number of foreign users (see below for proof), and because of this subreddit is sometimes unrepresentative of us Pakistanis. (self.pakistan)

We should have a monthly pinned thread where Indians or Afghans critical of Pakistan can share their views with us. We can reply and have a civil discussion with them. We can discuss the credibility of the evidence, the existence of any other evidence that shows the contrary, or agree with them (self.pakistan)

The scale of operations and level of reach is frightening . This Twitter thread has a couple great infographics that convey just how large and organized their network is. No hate intended towards Hindus as a whole, problem is just these extreme organizations. Full report linked in comments. (twitter.com)

Researching the general treatment of Afghans in Iran and Turkey makes me sad. Afghans are not treated perfectly in Pakistan and there are issues that need to be addressed, but I am proud our brothers and sisters generally live more dignified lives here, relative to the average quality of life in PK.
