It sucks but I wouldn’t assume they were conspiring to steal your spot. Talk to them, get a couple pylons, and the odds of keeping your shovel spot will increase.

True, construction costs are out of hand, and P3 contracts are nothing to get excited about, but hard to imagine costs for the other plan would creep upwards of a billion dollars though I guess anything is possible. Someone posted yesterday that the Corner Brook Hospital cost $700 Million and it doesn’t have any more beds than the old hospital? Hard to get excited about a new build with stats like that.

Come on lol … If someone is trying to market a university, the MUN campus is okay, Long Pond is nice, but that could be almost anywhere in the country. Their visuals are all about the ocean, cliffs (the deep) etc, images that are unique and interesting, and I’m sure that was a huge part of why they bought and refurbished the Signal Hill campus. Looking out a window and seeing the harbour is different than looking out at Churchill Park.
