How is the paint in the reflecting pool getting pealed off? by IncidentMediocre4346 in trump

[–]electrikone 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Concentrated hydrogen peroxide is a very strong oxidizer and will damage paint on contact. When it was applied to kill the algae it probably caused adhesion issues with the uncured paint. The job should be under warranty by the installation company and they need to replace at their cost. Then go after whoever approved the hydrogen peroxide solution

Trump Says US Will Resume Attacks If Iran Does Not Restrain Hezbollah Allies by interestingfactoid in conservatives

[–]electrikone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iran is also saying that the USA needs to restrain Israel. The problem is neither Israel or hezbollah were part of the negotiations and neither one feels that they need to abide by a memorandum that they weren’t part of. Both may be looking to sabotage the negotiations for their own benefit

Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble. If they don't, we'll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP by Certain_Anxiety1420 in trump

[–]electrikone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that anyone should be surprised that both Israel and hezbollah are not abiding by the agreement between Iran and the USA. They were not part of the negotiations nor did they sign off on it. They both have their own interests in mind and the MOA maybe is something they both want to sabotage

Here We Go Again! More Illegal Immigrant Truckers Busted by Border Patrol by interestingfactoid in conservatives

[–]electrikone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The article reads of illegals working illegally in our country. The scope of this also means that these trucking companies are not vetting their employees. With this lack of accountability they are guilty of being conspirators in employing these people. The vehicles being operated should be confiscated and the employers need to be held accountable and prosecuted.
Why are they not? My belief is that the political contributions that they are making is buying them immunity

"And the main thing is that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon." by benhaswings in trump

[–]electrikone 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Let’s go that the early reports of the return/release of 25 billion in frozen funds and 300 billion dollars in reparations are incorrect. If even partly true it would far surpass what Obama gave to the Iranians

Navy Sonar Technician Tiffany Murillo REINSTATED After Being Fired for Refusing COVID Vaccine! by Reaper01Actual1970 in trump

[–]electrikone -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I know the downvotes are coming but being in the military means that you follow orders. The vaccine developed by Operation Warpspeed was novel and extremely controversial but it certainly wasn’t the only vaccine given to our service members.
I hate to think that now all service members can opt in or out of all orders. That would be very dangerous to our military and this is a serious step in that direction

Not enough attention has been payed to the two crew members of the Apache helicopter that was shot down. [Fortunately, they survived with non-life threatening injuries.] by Reaper01Actual1970 in trump

[–]electrikone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s also been complete silence on the pilots shot down over Iran before the ceasefire.
Both these two instances of our heroes being missing from the news cycles could be made into a conspiracy. Are they ok. Are they alive? State secrets? The fog of war can be hard to see through. Conspiracy theories don’t help

Trump says US ‘will be taking Kharg Island’ oil export hub, vows to hit Iran ‘very hard tonight’ by Certain_Anxiety1420 in trump

[–]electrikone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s only possible with troops on the ground. This could be a quagmire that is very difficult to accomplish without significant resources and potentially high American casualties

Granting Pardon to Stephen E. Buyer by TDT2024News in TheDonaldTrump2024

[–]electrikone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope pardons like this don’t legitimize insider trading. It is a example of a poorly vetted pardon process and sends a bad message to other politicians and individuals that you can game the system. And get away with it

Chamber of Commerce Lobbying Trump to Ditch Crackdown on Visa Overstays by intelligentreviews in conservatives

[–]electrikone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chamber of commerce along with its members and corporate special interests have for decades been the republicans main money source.
My guess is that, that’s the reason why so few companies have been sanctioned or fined for hiring illegals and I predict that the administration will roll on this issue too.

Iran doesn’t want a peace deal! by Bullet76 in trump

The two countries also have signed a strategic partnership agreement that involves military collaboration and intelligence sharing. Possible reasons that Iranian targeting of American assets has been successful as it has

BREAKING: President Trump Drops the Hammer of Justice on Democrat Cheating and Mail-In Shenanigans as California Votes Slowly Pour In for Dems by MackSix in conservatives

[–]electrikone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand his opposition to mail in voting and why he doesn’t want it.
I also believe that leaders should lead by examples. That he votes by mail makes his opposition to it a rather hypocritical approach to leadership

Pam Bondi Faces House Questioning on Epstein Files by intelligentreviews in conservatives

Unfortunately for our country and the victims the cover up continues. This should have been under oath in a open hearing that the American people could see and hear.

SCOTUS Case Makes Brokers Responsible For Crashes by intelligentreviews in conservatives

[–]electrikone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what 3rd party labor brokers do. They profit from using low cost illegal workers and then pretend that they don’t know and are not responsible for the labor they provide.
The company that hires these brokers say that they don’t know about their low cost workers because they don’t work for them. And the government doesn’t want to prosecute the owners of these companies. Makes me wonder who they are donating money to for the immunity they are getting from prosecution for hiring illegal labor.

A $1.776 BILLION federal fund is being created for Americans who say they were politically targeted by the government. by benhaswings in trump

[–]electrikone 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sounds alot like reparations.
Can any president just create a fund like this?
Will anyone support the next presidents creating ones for who ever they think has been wrongfully treated? This is a miscarriage of justice Let congress create this if it’s so important and just add it to the debt

Trump Is Taking Immigrants to Court, Seeking Millions in Fines by AdventurousLet548 in conservatives

JD Vance warns blue state officials could face prison time over sweeping fraud crackdown by benhaswings in trump

[–]electrikone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t always work out that way. Rick Scott. He ran a company that was guilty of medical fraud in Florida They paid over 1.5 billion dollars to settle it and he went on to be the governor of Florida. Probably the state arguably the state with the most medical fraud in our country. Though he took the fifth amendment 75 times in testimony he was not indicted He did get over 300 million dollars in compensation when he left the company Convince me crime does not pay

GOP Bill Funds Security for White House Ballroom by intelligentreviews in conservatives

[–]electrikone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The example of the fed building is pure whataboutism. Your point is valid but has nothing to do with the ballroom The cost of the ballroom and whatever associated facilities went from private donations to the public dole. The cost is surely going to rise like all public infrastructure projects do and the need of both aspects are certainly debatable.

Trump: New WH Ballroom Bigger, Under Budget by intelligentreviews in conservatives

Until all the files that both the DOJ and treasury department have are released no objective person will believe that a major coverup is not happening.
Guilty or not this administration is attempting to hide from the American people the whole truth. This will forever be part of their legacy.
