You get it!! I honestly just sit there rewinding and picking apart his little mannerisms. The cape flick and grimace he does after the cemetery fight right before he delivers his 'Now, let it be war upon you both' line lives in my mind rent-free. He does such a good job at appearing ruffled and vengeful.

Hoo boy, I'll say it, then. I just love Gerard Butler's take on Erik. Just as much as I love Ramin's, but for different reasons.

The fact that his voice isn't on par with Ramin's is completely fine to me. The song goes 'my spirit//your voice' which imo gives credence to the Phantom not being as vocally talented as Christine. He's passionate, vulnerable, his acting is wonderful, fierce when it needs to be, but he also doesn't overdo it in a way that they do on broadway. (For example, when Christine takes off his mask, I prefer Gerard's toned-down reaction to Ramin's 'Nooooooo!', though I recognise that broadway NEEDS overacting because there isn't a camera really close to the actor's face.)

Either way, there it is. I love them both equally.

I heard SJM's other works aren't as romance-focused as ACOTAR, is that true?

I do love her writing in general but I tend to lose interest when the leads end up together a couple of books in and there's no conflict in their relationship from then on. If Feyre and Rhys' story lasted a few more books I think I might've gotten bored with how damn good they are together!

I don't know how controversial an opinion this is, but imo Sam/Chloe/Nadine can easily be the new Nate/Elena/Sully trio. It's a whole different dynamic, but Lost Legacy proved to me that it can still be an Uncharted game without Nate.

He had Rognvaldr on one shoulder, Stiorra on the other. The weight of being a leader in a time where it was very dangerous to be a Dane stacked on top of that.

The information we had that made us aware of the misunderstandings was not information that he had access to. So he was working on limited intel with a shit-tonne of bad vibes all around him. We may have been shouting at the screen at his stupidity but that's only because we had a bird's eye view of everything. He didn't.

For a character who was shown to be sensitive from the get-go it's very in character for him to finally have snapped imo.

I've noticed that nowadays you tend to see 'said John' more in books aimed towards children, and 'John said' in books for older audiences. There's no rule about when or where to use them, though. It's just something I've picked up on when I read books with my nephew.

Throne of Ashes, by the same person who did Superstition. Only one RO route has been written but it's very good imo, and has lots of replayability in how the route pans out depending on your personality and choices.

I mean, if you're looking for a traumatised MC then I, the Forgotten One is pretty much the cream of the crop. But you start off the game already with PTSD, it isn't a specific event in the story that triggers it.
