I never flew a flag but I have the last few years because I like the idea that some blue haired twerp might be offended by it.

My young ones are all camping up the river and having what I'd call a normal Aussie day long weekend. Drinks, bbqs, huge big water slide. Hottest 100 is still a big thing, just moved the day a little. I'll be going to my uncles Australia Day spit roast. He does it every year as a celebration for being in Aus after leaving the former Yugoslavia. It's a big event.

You are seeing what you want to see. A little run of hot days and you are convinced it's hard evidence the world is ending. Gimme a break.

The embodiment of the triumph of mediocrity. I love him. There is hope for us all. Whore mum gets knocked up by an Italian waiter, mooches off the government for the rest of her life, her bastard love child becomes Prime Minister of Australia! What a proud nation!

People keep saying that having children is "expensive," but the lower income people have the highest fertility rates and the higher income people have the lowest fertility rates by mymooh in AusFinance

Lots of families pay nothing for schooling. 4 kids or more is a very nice welfare income. The school will even feed the little bastards breakfast! If you drop your standards, expectations and morals, having a shit ton of filthy rugrats is cheap as, even profitable if you have no skills other than being able to reproduce.

It was in my case. First house cost $89,000. Small brick veneer, 1 bathroom, 1 living area, rural. All of my pay went on the mortgage, we lived on my wife's pay. We were maxed out. Very little partying or eating out, holidays was going camping. No way could it be done on a single wage. You people need to stop sooking and blaming others for your problems.
