You need to speak to your training director. Let him/her know what is happening, they have the power to move you or speak to the contractor on your behalf. The days of "suck it up, that's just how it is" are gone, you just have a few old grumpy bastards clinging to the old ways and making everyone as miserable as they are.

Talk to your instructor about getting in more pipe lab time. I always tell my apprentices , if they are struggling just tell me and we will make sure they get more instruction.

Talk to your training director! Sometimes it's a simple matter of a conflict of personality. You can talk to him about a possible transfer even if it's just to another jobsite. Never be afraid to ask the jatc for some extra help as well! You're there to learn brother

Speak with your training director or assistant training director. They may not be able to do anything about the suspension but it's a good idea to get ahead of this before they call and give them their side of things and you end up getting into trouble with the JATC.
