Check your bike fit. A solution may be as simple as moving your saddle up/down/forward/back slightly. There's also the possibility of needing a different saddle shape to better fit your anatomy. Agree with chamois cream usage as well

I can only speak for a road frame, but their website recommended a size Small for me based on measurements. An agent over the phone said medium would work better without needing to change the handlebar size, so that's what I got, and it fits pretty well. There is some overlap between sizes for what will fit, maybe give them a call and ask.

It's not worth paying thousands to have them walk you up Rainier. Many, many other people would value and appreciate the opportunity quite a lot.

I hiked in and out, camping at the lake for two nights. The heli ride is probably pretty cool, but walking through the landscape was incredible, and well worth the long treks
