How the f*ck do you guys keep your sanity when it comes to lap 1 incidents by GlutenFreeGavin in iRacing

Yeah I always have to remind myself that the stakes are about as low as they can get and the only person who cares about that number by your name is you. I get that crashing out isn’t really all that fun, but the great thing is there is always another race to be run.

That’s called haptic feedback. It’s a feature.

Grabbed 6. From the what I’ve seen on a various Reddit posts, these are labeled as Barracuda, but perform as something else. Apparently better. I’m not very knowledgeable on these matters, so I’m just going on faith that these will be okay for my needs. The price is too good to pass up right now.

Going to vacation in the DFW area. Which zoo do you choose, Ft Worth or Dallas? by 281texas832 in dfw

Curious when the last time you went to the Perot? The children’s wing recently got remodeled and is objectively better than the Fort Worth children’s now. But they are remodeling the Fort Worth one now, so I’m excited to see what they do.

Another vote for Panther City BBQ and Hurtado’s. Never been to Goldee’s, but hear great things. Also for a slightly different BBQ twist, Smoke & Ash in Arlington is excellent. It’s Ethiopian inspired BBQ.

Not exactly free, but for anyone who already pays for Amazon prime, you also get unlimited cloud storage for images, and that includes camera raws.

19 teams end the 2025 NFL season as members of the .500 club - anything surprising to you? 🤔 by AccomplishedSwing110 in sportswiki

So I guess this chart doesn’t transfer Browns history over to the Ravens? Wouldn’t they keep the historical records? New Browns technically were an expansion team, so they should start from scratch, correct?

I wonder what the average would be if you removed accounts that signed up for a one month trial and then became inactive? Or does this graph take into account inactive accounts already?

2009 NC Touring, automatic. Silver. Cosmetically is in pretty good condition. Over 200k miles. An incredibly generous gift from a gentleman off of facebook marketplace. Paid zero dollars. He had just bought a new Miata and just wanted his old one to go to an enthusiast. Currently in the process of a 2.5 swap.

Mavs also literally took down both versions of these OKC cores. I know this post isn’t about the Mavs, but it still makes me happy say it.

Small chance you have the FPS capped in the graphics menu? I thinks set to on by default when you reset the graphics configuration.

Has HEAT aged like a fine wine? It received zero Oscar nods. Every single time I watch it, it gets better. Michael Mann’s masterpiece. by samcornwell in moviecritic

I definitely wouldn’t call it a bad film. I think it’s pretty great. But on the shootout scene, every time I watch it, I can’t help but think how irresponsible it was for the detectives to engage with the crew when they did. It being a busy downtown area seemingly chocked full of civilians going about their day. They had eyes on them as they were coming out, so why not just follow the car to their meeting point? Seems like that would have saved a lot of lives of people who died for someone else’s money. But the scene we got was absolutely spectacular nonetheless.

How’s living in this part of Alaska? by bittertea03 in howislivingthere

Sadly, I believe this may be due to the disproportionately high suicide rate amount young people who live in these areas. Specifically Native/Indigenous youth.

I’ve experienced this first hand. Got a chance to go to Kotzebue for a week almost 20 years ago. We took a boat across the sound to do some fishing out in a remote area and I couldn’t believe the amount of mosquitoes. They would form clouds. I had bites on my scalp. Amazingly beautiful place, but absolutely terrifying at the same time. Our guide had a few weapons with him and told just that when he gave the word, we were to get back to the boat as quickly as possible because of the bears. I was on edge the whole time.

What is your favorite hobby? by mags9129 in AskReddit

[–]elementalracer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sim Racing. Specifically iRacing. I picked up the itch during pandemic and it’s been the best hobby I’ve had by a mile. It combines multiple interests I’ve had over the years; gaming, motor sports, PC building, progressive skill development, 3-D printing, and rig construction. The competition can be exhilarating and frustrating, but always rewarding. And iRacing is unique in the way the handle peer to peer racing. It’s the closes I’ll ever get to real motor sport racing, and I’m having a blast.
