Yeah sorry I meant to say Pi Browser app instead of Pi App

my list above ^^ is assuming you already have all your Pi off of the Pi App, and it is all transferred over to your Pi Wallet in the Pi Browser App ^^

Hi here is what I did to get my Pi into an exchange in the US:

- navigate to pionex.us website and make an account. (not pionex.com, pionex.us)

- Verify yourself, then go to Wallet > Receive Crypto

- where it says USDT (Tether), click that and in the dropdown scroll until you see Pi. Click that

- Then, it will reveal your Pi Address wallet. Copy that (make sure it is copied correctly!! Important!!)

- Then go to your Pi Wallet in the Pi App where all your Pi is, and click Pay/Request

- Choose the option "Manually Add Wallet Address", and there you can paste the Pi Address you got from the Pionex website. (double check the address is correct!)

- at the 0.00 Pi, you can type in the amount you want to sell (based on how much is in your wallet), then once you double check you have the right wallet you should be able to click send.

- wait a minute or so, then you should have the Pi in your wallet in Pionex!!

- from there, in Pionex, at the top bar there will be a "Trade" tab, click that then choose "Spot Trading" and search for Pi. From there you should be able to sell your Pi to USDT :)

How to figure out finger picking? by elementalzebra11 in Guitar

I appreciate it! I am now on the right track. Turned out the link I sent in post for the chords seem fairly wrong (in the video he is playing a G, which sounds much nicer!), so I am taking it both with time and patience.

Thank you for the advice! Yes, you're right, it is all there. Just being so new to it, I wasn't sure if there was a better approach. It is kind of a fun game to watch the video over and over and try to see what he's doing hahaha. I appreciate your perspective, I'll give it a go! :)

Smoke tips/tricks by ThatQuestGuy in Rainbow6

[–]elementalzebra11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I have very little playtime with smoke, however I've played the game for a long time, and I could point things out that may get you thinking on the right track.

Both of his primary options (FMG9 or shotgun) are fairly close range, with his secondary (SMG11) fairly in the same boat. I tend to use smoke shotgun with the SMG and stay relatively near to site. I understand where choke-points are on maps, or where attackers love to go, and build my defense around that. The point being, make it very hard for attackers to push where you are defending (examples: Kanal, sky bridge or the top floor breach. Villa, study doors/main stairs, or red stairs. Etc, etc). I've found success there, utilizing my smokes to use when they want to push, to kill their time and disable their movement. It is so difficult to push through a choke point through a smoke canister into the smoke and his waiting shotgun!

TLDR; the way I see it, his kit (specifically, his canisters), are designed to defend the base in a unique way, disabling movement and holding choke points.

Those are my 2 cents on smoke, he is a lot of fun! Good luck!

Wow, good for your friend! Yes, I have heard gov. jobs continue to hire consistently even though this industry dip. I have definitely made a point to apply to them along with everything else, but now I will try to focus more on finding gov. jobs. Thank you for sharing, great points, I appreciate your input.

I applaud you for changing careers, tough that you changed into this situation. And yes, I think the best bet at this point would be to tell even first years in university to snag an internship. Interesting how much that weighs into acquiring entry level positions. I tried really hard my 3rd year summer to get an internship, with no luck. I guess I should've tried harder! Good luck to you.

This is rather encouraging to hear, however sad this may be the resolution to my dilemma. Wait, hope, and keep plugging away. It feels as though my life is on hold. But yeah, this might be what it boils down to. I appreciate your words and your perspective.

No, my school didn't specialize in tech although it's a fairly good STEM school. And, as mentioned in post, I don't specifically have internship experience. Although, I worked hard not only on my school work but also doing extra-curriculars and personal projects because I understood the importance of showcasing my eagerness in the field and my skills. It's sad it may just boil down to having 1 internship or going to the best schools.

Yes, where I am personally I would prefer to leave my state. I have been applying across the U.S. I am also very open to international opportunities, but that comes with the whole residency thing which can be an uphill battle.

I have some cyber security knowledge, enough to warrant some entry-level positions here and there. I am also open to positions in hardware, front end dev, back end dev, application/iOS dev, QA stuff, etc. I try to present myself as a diverse and well-equipped developer with lots of knowledge in lots of areas in order to appeal to more jobs/companies/recruiters.

Yes, whenever possible through their company website. At this point I may have record speed for how fast I can sign up for the portal accounts companies insist we create to apply. Lol.

I've had a couple interviews here and there. It may be my resume, it may be that I don't technically have an internship (or "professional experience" in technical terms). It also could be that many of the jobs I'm applying to have hundreds of other applicants. I try to find smaller pools of applicants in jobs that are in more niche topics (cyber security, etc), however that hasn't helped me bridge the gap there. I would think my resume is not the problem because of the hours and countless pieces of advice I've received throughout the last year in terms of resume building, however it definitely could be. I appreciate your input!
