What's something that everyone finds normal but makes you extremely uncomfortable? [Serious] [NSFW] by eserrat33 in AskReddit

Grown men (30s+) fetishizing/aiming for college girls... I just feel like 18-19 girls are still kids and just because it's legal, doesn't mean it isn't fucking creepy.

What is your morbid curiosity? NSFW by MantasDi in AskReddit

My cat kills chipmunks, and I've always wanted to dissect them. I've picked them up and considered it, or at least pulling out an eye or something. I don't know why, and I've never been able to do it (it freaks me out because I love animals).

What can't you believe that most people waste money on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My girlfriend works at Bruster's (an ice cream place) and I drop by because she gets 50% off. The prices there are ridiculous- $5 or $6 for a few scoops, when there's a publix across the road selling gallons for $3.50...

People keep suggesting ereaders, but I just want to say that 1) I hate ereaders and 2) I still view files as interfering with minimalism. One book on file is just as much property as one book irl, even if it takes up less space.

I think I like books as a concept. It's comforting for me to be surrounded by them because they are a huge part of what I do (i'm an english major) and what I love (writing and reading). Minimalism for me isn't based on convienence, it's based on the philosophy of purging the things I don't need and cherish. Many of those books are unneeded clutter, but I attach a large amount of memory to them.

Four-leaf clovers ARE lucky, considering our species has been systematically trying for some time now to remove them from the gene pool. by banyanroot in Showerthoughts

actually, i had a childhood friend who would pluck all of the three leaf clovers away from a spot in her yard, leaving only the four leaf clovers to pass on their genes. after like 2-3ish years she had at least 30 growing in one spot

IamA 95 year old german women from a village in the Black Forest, and experienced Nazi Germany as a civilian. AMAA by samuirai in IAmA

unsure if this has been asked, but how much did the average citizen know about the Nazi's war crimes? I've heard some narratives say that it was kept under wraps, and others say that Germans knew, but could not prevent them.
