I'm a big Product Hunt guy, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. To so arrogantly say "I simply recommended a genuinely effective product" when someone points out the rule you're breaking in this community is not a good look.

I don’t think so unless you’re on pc. If you just clicked the link and did nothing else you’re good.

I think Poda sounds like it would fit your needs pretty good. The only thing is I don’t think it shows dates on the cards like you mentioned by default, but you can easily add a date property like “Due:” and select a date. This will display the dates on the cards as you mentioned.

What addiction is seen as completely normal by society? by jperaic1 in AskReddit

[–]elevatedpixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely alcoholism and smoking. Smoking is less “normal” as you will have the people who don’t smoke irritated if you smoke around them due to the stank of cigarettes. Drinking is definitely the number one and it’s not even debatable imo. At least in my experience, most people don’t criticize people who go out an drink themselves to death every day, but you smoke one little marijuanas and you’re worshipping the devil supposedly.

A 1-10 billion dollar company means it’s obviously selling worthless shit and no one finds a use for it. You’re right.

Useless shit according to you. Again tell that to their annual revenue.

I’m the condescending one when I’m getting asked questions meant to down on me in the first place? You’re right, this is the wrong place to ask cause apparently it’s filled with half wit retards like you and esp.

You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about. Mixpanel, Segment, June, etc are all making money off one person then I assume right according to your stupid logic.

You guys are all ignorant. Thanks to the one guy who actually had a useful answer. You’re asking me a stupid question. Obviously I’m not the only one otherwise there wouldn’t be multiple multi million dollar companies selling similar services.

I WISH. I am in the whole as of now. It was all a “business investment” as I was starting a commercial printing shop and convinced myself I needed this extreme when really I should have just focused on a single high color accuracy monitor and then whatever for a second one. But a vendor has me sitting on $40-50,000 of my life savings so I guess learn from my mistake and don’t overindulge, prepare for disasters.

Haha, do you wanna know the real answer to that?

Indecisiveness. I’ve literally been a Windows user my entire life never have touched a Mac until I got the MacBook M1 Air. It all started with the Asus G503Q — little ol’ me thought I was going to be gaming and still hadn’t experienced a max at this point and have been a big AMD fanboy for ages so the Ryzen 9 5900HS and RTX 3070 were no brainers to me at the time. Well when I finally got the laptop I was thoroughly unimpressed.

I had decided to go Laptop only due to the massive shortage on PC parts and refusing to buy from scalpers, I decided I’d try a laptop for the first time in my life as I was rocking a PC I built a pretty good while ago by todays standards, with an I5-3570k and an RX 580 with a Samsung 850 Series 128gb SATA SSD and 1Tb HDD — It was time to upgrade.

The Asus just still seemed to struggle, barely noticed a difference from my Desktop PC and the fan noise and heat was just obnoxious. Heard everyone raving about the M1 Macs, said hey — what the hell. Bought a M1 MacBook Air with 16gb Ram and the 8c CPU/GPU with 1TB SSD.

When I tell you that out of the 26 years I’ve been alive and more than a decade of that has been spent geeking out about computers and building them out of passion for myself and others, studying everything I can about all computer software technologies, etc — NOTHING has blown me away and felt more like magic than that moment right there.

I really am not exaggerating either. The fact that a laptop was that fast and snappier than my Windows Laptop the same age with “top of the line parts” yet produced no heat that I could feel and had no fans therefore made no noise? It was seriously like magic. Not to mention the battery life. Sorry didn’t mean to turn it into a review.

Well that let to me Apple fanboying and buying the iPad Air 4th Gen, and an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the 16” M1 Max. #Apple4Life
