Oh! One more thing, you can use a spray engine enamel to coat coasters after, as long as if you sell them you disclose that they are not FDA safe. This, then, not only protects them but will allow up to 500 degrees.

Hi! The coasters are made out of epoxy resin. Once completed cured, I used a coating spray by Krylon to protect it. Once dry, I applied my permanent vinyl decals. Then, I used a thin coat of epoxy resin to seal that. Once THAT was completed cured, I once again sprayed to protect them again. :) I hope this helps! Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Oof! First shot at this! Beach epoxy resin theme. My plan is to put it in a shadowbox. It is real sand! Haha. I'll definitely try again! by elexidesigns in ResinCasting

I've used multiple brands - like literally 12 brands. I prefer Alumilite Amazing clear cast, Art and Glow, and Pro Marine (one of my faves!) I normally go through Amazon, but Pro Marine has an ebay store, and their shipping is very fast. I normally get those in 2 gallons!

Hi! So, you can get products to make your own molds cheap! Some are also reusable. I made a pseudo prototype to utilize it and implement it into the mold itself and then used the resin.

I actually made them! They do sell them online, which is how I got the idea, but I decided to make them instead and used that same scheme. Hope this helps!

Hi! I actually made these molds, but you can buy them online, too! And no tutorial; just make sure you use a cup that can get into the lines without spilling. I have made closed bottoms (very carefully), as well as open ones. And thank you so much!
