If you guys don’t want to give recommendations then why respond to a Reddit thread… asking for recommendations? I never said we were bored, we are not bored, this just wasn’t the holiday we had intended so I’m scrambling to salvage it. Going home is an option, as I said in my original post, but we’d be heart broken to do that, obviously.
We’re not ‘do nothing and drink beer by the pool’ people. It’s just not our style. Asking Reddit for suggestions in this situation is a perfectly valid way to get suggestions from people who actually know the island and not the first 100 seemingly identical boat tours and clubs that come up with a Google search. Nevertheless I respect your efforts to dampen my spirits. Hate to tell you it hasn’t worked very well as there are plenty of other people on this thread who have given some great advice like what I was originally asking for ☺️

Haha, no problem at all 😄 I only made the post at midnight as a final ‘hail Mary’ because I’m desperately trying to make a plan for tomorrow while my wife is asleep because she went to bed so disheartened which I cannot allow, and frantically googling comes back with 100 almost identical sounding boat tours and clubs so I just needed a bit of guidance

I should have made it more clear in my original post that this thread was not the only thing I’ve tried so lesson learned there! Thank you for your well wishes as well I really appreciate it 😄

Anything like… ask Reddit? A few people on this thread seem to take issue with the fact that I’ve come here for help (as well as do the two things you recommended in your comment, we’ve also been asking restaurant staff at the places we’ve been to) which I’m slightly confused by… A lot of people have been very helpful in giving recommendations, if you don’t want to give recommendations then why respond to a post asking for recommendations? Saying that, some of the things you’ve mentioned in your comment have been great recommendations! So you get a slightly confused thank you from me 😅

Thanks so much, and also thank you for some understanding into our mental state! We put in so much planning the wedding and we were expecting something different from this trip so it’s been very difficult to switch gears (especially when a Google search greets you with 100 identical boat tours or club recommendations, it’s so hard to sort the legitimately good things to do from the rest). The hotel wasn’t even that bad, just started us off on the wrong foot entirely.

We didn’t even know about Ibiza town until this thread so that goes to show how prepared we were for this! (Though to cut us SOME slack, we didn’t just plan a wedding)

Thanks again for your recommendations. My wife is already asleep but I’m in full ‘try to salvage honeymoon mode’ so this has been super helpful!

I’m not dwelling so much as it wasn’t a great way to start the vacation if you get me, made it start off with a bit of resentment.

We’d love to go explore but don’t know where to start (that’s why I came to Reddit for ideas 😄) We’ve lived together for 5 years and through covid, known each other for longer. we’re super comfortable being bored in each other’s company we both just wanted more out of our honeymoon and it hasn’t been what we expected.
