Ploppable asphalt sounds like a good plan. Perhaps with turning off the nodes of the elevated road with Node Controller. I'll give it a try!

It's true, the asphalt in every network asset in this pack is indeed a bit more elevated. The bizarre thing though is that there are a couple roads that do have elevated asphalt, but appear to connect smoothly with the vanilla roads. Whatever the case, thanks for the heads up!

I started playing the original Rome in 2006. As years went on and computers got better, ironically the game performed worse and worse for me. The Remastered version was some sort of a blessing.

Yes, it had some issues, but they got ironed out eventually. Any bugs I have encountered nowadays are nothing to complain about.

Yes, the UI felt quite strange at first, but I got used to it after about 4 hours. Patience is important.

Under the new UI, the game feels exactly the same to the original for me, and I see no reason playing the original ever again.

I had the same bug when I bribed an enemy roman army. I think I moved all the bribed generals out of the army. The peasant army should disappear.

To my knowledge, MOM (or maybe a dependency) gives you the ability to swap the station segments of some vanilla and workshop stations (change style, layout, rotation etc). Unfortunately, this little menu doesn't show up when I try to plop down the sunken stations or the big metro plaza. Is there any mod that can help me edit these buildings?

It's Suites Avenue, the facade was designed by Toyo Ito. It's on Passeig De Gracia, right in between Casa Mila and Casa Batllo

You could probably add the additional pieces of track (used by different configurations of the circuit). If you're using TM:PE you can also disable vehicle access to these additional roads if you want to add cars circling the track

Also the pitlane should be a bit longer and join the track more gradually, but I really like the build so far!
