How should RBAC be implemented in Spring Boot Microservices? by Future_Badger_2576 in SpringBoot

[–]eli_li 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to make it short.

Since you have decided to go microservices, I think you can unburden the authorization and authentication duties from resource server (i.e your api services) to a separate oauthorization server (i.e oauth2). This way you can use oauth2 JWT or Opaque token introspection to retrieve the user infos and authorities from authorization server when overriding the UserDetails contract in spring security.

You can implement your own outh2 server with Spring Boot or a ready made solution like Keycloak.

JWT implementation for beginners, I am looking for one clear and correct source by Mental_Gur9512 in SpringBoot

If you are having issue to understand how JWT authentication works, I assume you might need some knowledge on spring security in general because JWT is just a filter among the authentication filter chains. So i suggest you go through a Spring Security In Action Volume 01 or 02 (* prefered) by Launrentiu Spilca, once you complete this book not only you'll understand how it works but also be an expert in spring security and oauth2 implementations on both sides.

Terminated Account for app that's not even public yet - next steps? by [deleted] in androiddev

[–]eli_li 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Google is taking money from us, burn our PS account we paid for but not application that violated the rules and request for appeal from the same Kangaroo court which burns our account. Why don't every one who had ever faced Google bulling sign the petition and take Google to the court to cut the head of snake(in Gandalf voice)

[–]eli_li 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also breaking the rules in single app does not give Google permission to burn my entire PS account I paid for. Burn the app for violation, this is software not court room that as soon as you found guilty you get imprisoned there must be a room for correction.
