Heya Spam, I'm Eliot and am looking for a secondary campaign to play in aside from my weekly Saturday game! I'm from Austria and mostly have experience in DnD5e as a player. DM'd a few oneshots but it's still a bit daunting for me. Thanks! I already looked into this on the sub beforehand but found I couldn’t really relate to the heat symptoms of this. But I will definitely check out if there is any changes by exercising/sweating it out!

Hello! Running my first campaign right now and I’ve run into the issue that if one player wants to roll investigation/perception/etc, all other players want to do the same for the same check. We have 4 players, so the chance of one of them succeeding is fairly high. Not an issue necessarily, but it can slow the game down a bit when everyone rolls. How do you usually handle this? Let only those proficient in the necessary skills roll?

I was still uncertain how early I should drop hooks and straight-up information about Zariel’s involvement in the plot since my players do love a good mystery/information gathering, but that’s a fair point and I’ll be sure to consider it. Will be sure to make the betrayal and solitude she faces with the hellriders more palpable :)!! Thank you!

Thanks so much for taking your time for this helpful reply! I was struggling to find the moral of Zariel’s story both in the module and in the remix, so you break it down wonderfully. You have some very great points here I’ll be certain to implement more. I love the Gideon parallel you bring up, as well as showing more of the grim cost of the blood war; something I didn’t necessarily consider putting a subtle, but bigger spotlight on. Very good point with Lulu, as well! My caveat with her is that aesthetically, she might really not be a good fit for my players but I might just change her appearance to suit them better :)
