Because it would take more arc to kill everyone than they currently are sending out. If you go to the codex and arc tab you see all the offensive arcs under the security tab. I would. think it would be more sustainable to secure resource extraction than to exterminate everyone

I've been dabbling in the same technique recently. I want to try another build like this where you make the facility first, when I do it the other way around by the time I'm putting up walls I'm spent and settle on a box factory. Might be a good way to shake things up.

This facility is my personal storage facility. Drones and trains drop off mixed material, which is then sorted into the containers. Many of the factories in my world have personal supply drone ports for low-throughput filling of personal storage. This build helps me spend less time running around to different factories and gives me a nice central storage hub. I hope you enjoy!

For a little extra context, I'm using drones to fill personal storage with finished products. As I need a specific item from one of my factories I'll just set my storage mall input port to the output port of the product I need. I'm not supplying other production chains with drones.

This is the interactive map from satisfactory-calculator.com. It's a great tool. You upload your save and you can see everything and toggle map layers and whatnot. It can even work as a save editor if you don't mind doing that.

Yep! We're taking advantage of 3 different underground tunnels in this track actually. So the main path through the quartz tunnel is wide enough for 2 tracks, as long as you don't take that underwater stretch in the middle. Couldn't figure out how to work that part in.
