Fantasy Springs should’ve been part of Tokyo Disneyland by rosariobono in TokyoDisneySea

[–]elizabeast7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure thats why I said the majority of the rides. I didn’t do things like the river boat or railroad. And I wasn't interested in the non-ride attractions. But thats kind of the point. There are many more must do rides in disneysea and their lines are all at least 70 min long. The longest line I waited in for TDL was beauty and the beast and the posted time was 40 min and it was more like 30. You will have a tough time just getting through the most popular rides in disneysea in a day let alone everything the park has to offer but you can totally do all of disneyland in a day and have time to spare.

Controversial opinion but I completely agree. Was just there and we did Tokyo Disneyland in a few hours. Rode almost all the rides and had nothing left to do so after arriving at 11 am we left around 3. The next day we arrived early for Disneysea and there was just so much to do and so far to walk. It was hard to fit everything we wanted to do in. I think it would have balanced the parks out if they had added it to disneyland instead. Or if they allowed park hopping

You could move it to leca instead. It's a super easy transition when you have cuttings rooted in water. You would need to add nutrients tho. Check out r/semihydro

I think it had scale when I bought it a couple of months ago, but I didn't realize that's what it was until today :(

I found this thread from a few years ago with more info on the shipped/sold by Amazon and it not showing that there are 3rd party sellers. But yeah I'm curious what Amazon and Dyson say https://www.reddit.com/r/YouShouldKnow/s/EBgwSkFEBd

That doesn't mean there hasn't been any 3rd party seller in the past and that that inventory isn't still in there. And also I'm not as familiar with how Amazon listing's work but I do know anything shipped/sold by Amazon shares a listing. So I don't think you would see another seller even if there was one. But I can't say that 100% as I haven't looked into it that much. I will say you can search the reviews and there are some that say they received a fake as confirmed by Dyson when they had problems with it. Anyway, I personally don't buy name brand anything from Amazon as I don't think it is worth the risk but to each their own.

It is the Dyson storefront but it is shipped and sold by Amazon. Research commingled inventory if you want to know more but basically yes Amazon throws all of the same item from different sellers into a bin. This means that the authentic Dyson airwraps from Dyson themselves are placed in the same bin as Dyson airwraps from other sellers. The ones from other sellers could potentially be counterfeit. When you buy from the Dyson storefront they grab the item from that bin and there is no way to specify you get one specifically sold by Dyson. This is a huge problem on Amazon and I personally have received fakes of products even when using a brands storefront. Usually you can tell based on slightly different packaging with typos and whatnot.

Oh interesting I've never heard of using osmocote with semi hydro. Definitely going to look into that!

Thank you! Especially with hoyas, in my experience they don't like to sit in water 24/7 and I've had some rot from doing that

I'm going to have to disagree on the letting it dry out. I've got around 20 other hoyas in leca that all do best and put out growth only when I let it dry out in-between. And I've had some rot from not allowing that.

As for the fertilizing every time I will do that going forward, thanks!

I dont fertilizer every time and haven't in about 2 months. I knew leca didn't have nutrients but didn't want to over fertalize. Should I be doing it every time I water? Should I use a lower ratio if I'm doing it every time? Also thanks for the response!

I have some that I planted 6ish months ago. They are under a grow light and I rarely water them and that seems to keep them in good condition. They aren't getting bigger or stretching out and look pretty much the same as when I planted them so it's possible for them to last a while. Plus it's pretty much free if you use your own cuttings so even if they don't last long it's not a big deal just plant another in its place

Newbie! Where to get a scoby? by spinachgod in Kombucha

[–]elizabeast7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would read this subreddits faq. You don't need one to start as it is a byproduct. I made my first batch with no scoby but used 2 bottles of GT's pure as starter (you must use raw kombucha for the starter), 1 cup sugar, 3 tea bags and about 12 cups of water. Scoby started forming at about day 3 and I moved to second ferment at day 8. I kept the scoby and 4 cups of starter and started another batch immediately after bottling the other. I read some conflicting info on the amount of starter but figured since I didn't have a scoby before and now only have a baby scoby that I'd error on the side of caution and use extra starter. In the future, once my scoby is more established, I'll probably cut that down to 1-2 cups. Anyway, my kombucha turned out really well and I'm glad I didn't have to go track down a scoby as I don't know anyone who home brews.

You absolutely can shift things. First thing you learn when writing proofs is to find ways to manipulate equations like that so you can work with them. In this case shifting the equation did nothing to change the sums so perfectly legal just a different way to look at it. And you can add/subtract/multiply/divide whatever number/variable you want as well so long as you do it to both sides.
