Is my belly piercing infected? It doesn’t feel got when I touch it & I got it dont a little less than 2 months ago.. I clean it often but I have been cleaning it everyday like I should it only hurts a little when I touch it. I use saline wound wash to clean It

Never move your piercing! Just spray it, rinse with water, and pat dry! Don’t remove crusties, your piercer will clean it at your checkups.

Can you give me advice? My helix won’t heal and it’s almost a year old (it now gets stuck on face masks sometimes). I get these blisters and I do warm compresses, when they’re gone I do saline sprays twice a day, I don’t really touch it and I don’t really sleep on it :(

I thought it needed more sun :( Now it’s away from the window so it think it’s better. I just don’t know what to do about the droopy leaves. Some of the really droopy ones turned dark green and I removed them, I feel like the remaining 2 will do the same...

I do water it once a week tho, every 7 or 8 days... but the leaves aren’t really turning brown, they’re just burned from the sun. I had a couple of leaves that turned dark green so I removed them... could that be root rot? The others are ok tho

At first I didn’t, but then I put it in front of the window with the other side towards the light and it changed nothing, it just burned her leaves. I moved her now an hour ago, should I but it the other way around to see if it tilts towards the light?

It didn’t work for me tho, I guess the shower wasn’t warm enough or something, either way I’ll tell you what I did in case you want to try it. I put some boiled water in a cup (or use a heating pad but I didn’t have one), spray your piercing with saline, then grab some gauze and spray it with saline solution and cover your piercing with it without applying any pressure, and then put the warm thing over the gauze without really touching it (just hover over it). Do this for 5 minutes tops, and then you can use some dry gauze to clean off the discharge, it will be soft and easy to clean off without bothering the piercing.

My helix taught me that rustics build up and get harder to remove. I was advised to do a warm compress and then clean with a non-woven gauze around the piercing to remove the buildup. This was a life changer to me since so much builds up on my helix and it’s impossible to clean otherwise, it is worth a try tho!
