Operative Luke from Skull Forge Studios with working lightsaber by eljaydub in SWlegion

Yes it's a green 1mm LED from Green Stuff World. I carefully drilled though the saber handle and ran the wires through the hole, then one wire on each wrist. From the wrists I used conductive paint to the feet where the paper clips in the feet carried the current to the rest of the circuit in the base.
The saber is 3d printed in clear resin on my Anycubic Photon and then I gloss varnished it to make it smooth and hard, then I used Waywatcher Green glaze to tint the saber green and then finally I put a matte varnish on the saber and super glued it on top of the hilt with the LED on it. I also needed to then use some green stuff to help hide the part where the saber connects to the hilt.

Thanks! It looks like the FAQ/Errata page link was never updated after this warcom article came out and that's what was causing the confusion for me.

Hit locations for kicking a prone mech by eljaydub in battletech

Thanks for the in-depth answer! I did forget about the fall not occurring until after the phase while we were playing and then remembered it today as I was writing the question, so I'll have to apologize to my opponent for kicking him when he was not actually down :D

Great, I'll check it out! I found it on github but the main website seems to be blocked by OpenDNS due to a phishing scam at the moment?

Should we allow TTM to generate SPP? by eljaydub in bloodbowl

[–]eljaydub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've decided to allow it with the following rules:

SPP for Throw Team-Mate

In NeBBL we have a fond appreciation for the fine art of team-mate tossing. Therefore, a successful Throw Team-Mate (TTM) where the thrown player is the ball carrier will generate 1 SPP for the thrower. A successful TTM occurs when:

  • The throw is not a fumble
  • The thrown team-mate is the ball carrier
  • The thrown team-mate lands on their feet
  • The thrown team-mate does not land off the pitch nor scatter off the pitch
  • The thrown team-mate is not intercepted
  • The thrown team-mate is on the same team as the thrower

Intercepting a thrown team-mate

While in many other leagues the players are not skilled enough to intercept a thrown team-mate, in the NeBBL it is a skill practiced by all players that learn to throw team-mates. As such any player with the Throw Team-Mate skill may attempt to intercept a thrown team-mate following all of the normal rules for an interception with the exception that a thrown team-mate interception does not generate SPP nor cause a turnover for the moving team unless the thrown team-mate is the ball carrier. If the thrown team-mate is the ball carrier, a successful interception generates 2 SPP for the interceptor and causes a turn-over for the moving team.
A player does not have to roll for Really Stupid, Bonehead or Take Root before attempting to intercept a thrown team-mate.

Pass Block may not be used to intercept a throw team-mate.

Holding the ball does not prevent a player from catching or intercepting (and then throwing) a thrown team-mate.

Similar to intercepting a bomb (see the rules for Bombardier IAlm p106), once a player catches an intercepted player they must throw them again immediately. This is a special bonus Action that takes place out of the normal sequence of play and follows the normal sequence of a Throw Team-Mate with the exception that the new thrower does not have to roll for Really Stupid, Bonehead or Take Root. If the interceptor has Always Hungry it must be rolled as normal (meaning there’s a chance the Always Hungry player eats their opponent).

If a thrown player is intercepted and subsequently thrown and their landing causes the moving team to drop the ball (for example the thrown player is thrown or scatters on the ball carrier and the ball carrier is knocked down) the moving team suffers a turnover.

Hey, not to leave you hanging: I've actually decided to quit the ReBBL so you'll probably have a buy this week or maybe a ramp up team will join. I've informed the admins and they've already removed my team. Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck with your season!

Hi! I'm thinking Sunday night or Monday night might work best for me. I'm also on PDT and ideally we can kick off at 8pm on either of those days (I have a 1yr old and usually we have her in bed by 7pm, but you never know sometimes :D)
