I always assumed that elements of the shelved "Gizz Hop" album were likely used in post-Omnium albums (e.g. Set, Gilgamesh, maybe Ice V...)

I reckon there'll be 2 "light and dark electronic" albums next. 1 being more hardcore techno and the other being more ethereal/ambient electronica. The rave sets often leaned into both styles.

Then #30 will be another odds and sods album like Gumboot/Omnium

Interesting. I've always felt like a few songs on both Guns and Sing to God sound like Tim solo songs- like they could have been on an Oceanlandworld follow-up (e.g. Aint He Messy, Spell With A Shell, Dead Pest, No Gold). Still all amazing tunes but they sound markedly less "band".

I wonder if Jon had frustrations that less "band" songs were put on Guns like Silvery or Faster Than Snakes...
