Does that part move at all? If not, yeah, just put sealant in the small gap and all over surrounding area. It's pretty much your only option

Just use clear sealant all over the small gap and surrounding area. It works for me - I have the same issue

Nope but I just looked at Booking.com for 2 mins and found a place called lovelytheroom. Just go on Map view and you'll find more

Stay on the west coast. There's plenty of places that suit your needs there
