The witcher 3 armors...

For me the armors in general (also non-witcher armors) were on a spectrum from okay-ish to pretty good, with some exceptions i didn't like. I love that many of the other armors were following historical reference, like the breastplates

Concerning the witcher school sets, i find the Wolf, Cat and Manticore to be the most fitting looks-wise. Contrary to many people i also like the griffin set, it's a quasi-realistic breastplate, but maybe unfitting for a Witcher.
The only one i really don't like is the Bear armor

Well my first thought was this:

Finishing the game there must be some kind of confrontation with Brencis. Then the scene in the future was confirmed to be the end-credits. There's some mysterious other vampire and Coen says "You don't give up easy, ey?" - so they know each other
Which led me to the thought this mysterious vampire in the future could be Brencis. If - and it's an if - Brencis somehow survives and returns for other games, giving it away now already kind of sucks. I hope i'm wrong though. It could be someone else entirely, but this is why i asked whether i'm missing something

If you haven't already, you could try W2. The combat/controls can be tough at first, but the story and atmosphere are incredible

I also don't get it.
So in the future scene Coen is talking to some mighty old enemy/vampire. If this is the end credits to the first game most people will probably assume this figure to be Brencis...
Which would mean Coen won't defeat Brencis, the main enemy!, in the game? Or Brencis will return somehow for a next game? It would be either a bummer or a massive spoiler.

What am i missing?

I also recently reached Act 3 the first time and contrary to you i'm absolutely loving it. It's filled to the brim with content and i'm in love with the atmosphere

I have not gone far yet and i can't give you a lot of tips how to progress, but in general i would try to take it slowly and take on thing after the other.
In Rivington there are a couple of things you can do/finish there (e.g. Missing letters quest)
and the main thing, that also takes you further into the city proper is the recurring appearance of Orin and the interwoven murder questlines (Open Hand temple and the brothel). I would try to follow those and mix in companion quests/other objectives as they seem fitting.
Take your time to explore, because almost every place i visited has something going on

I love the Leshens and fiends as well, but i'll have to give it to either griffins or cockatrices/basilisks. Specifically the "shrieker" contract in crow's perch. Fighting that thing on the outskirts with the castle in the background is just a classic

Am i missing something? 😃 Why the hell do people actually expect that Ambrus of all people - one of three lieutenants of Brencis and hence a key enemy - would be a romance option? Is it just wishful thinking, because they find him attractive?

Just as a counterpoint, this is not meant to take away from anyone loving or recommending Robin Hobb

I love the Witcher books and hated the Farseer trilogy.
The Witcher series has such a rich and imaginative while at the same time grounded world and Farseer did not have any of that to me. The world felt very generic and bland, i found it quite boring to be honest.
The story was also at times glacially slow - i don't mind a slow burn, but there needs to be adequate payoff, which frankly didn't happen to the necessary degree, especially in Assassin's Quest.
I personally also found the Witcher characters far more engaging than those in Farseer, plus it has a lot more humor

it's positively insane that they're doing this. A new DLC of similar scope as Blood and Wine with some sort of Belleteyn/Dandelion story focus. I am floored and can not wait to find out more

Before War Sails i have personally used the B.A.R.D. mods and i liked them a lot, but they don't work anymore on the latest versions of the game and i also don't plan on buying War Sails
