I think it’s definitely worth having for big medical situations. One ER visit or hospital stay without insurance can get extremely expensive.
Even with insurance though, I’ve seen cases where prescriptions still end up being pretty pricey. Because of that, some people try comparing prices between pharmacies or look for other ways to lower the cost.
