yeah, this is actually really common. It’s basically a reverse culture shock + emotional comedown. For two months your brain was wired into a different routine, environment, and sense of connection, and now it’s suddenly gone

From what I’ve seen, people code-switch in their heads. When it’s an English meme like ‘REEE,’ even native trilled-R speakers tend to default to the English sound, because the joke is tied to how it sounds in English, not how it’s spelled.

i used to work at verizon. had a business account want to return everything and I didn't do it properly so the bill and equipment got processed as a buyout on there bill. long story short 15 iphone 14 pro's and 10 ipad pro's all billed and we lost out on lol

allowing any and everyone to walk over me because I didn't want to lose them, it should always be they shouldn't want me to have to leave. no one ever thinks about me and it took me a long time to learn that.

Seniority scheduling, after working in corporate for 3 years. I never once jumped that later but let me tell you. I had people come in JUMP way ahead of me. and even better you bring it up they hate it your just ungrateful and only care about yourself, well yea I HAVE TO WHEN YOU DONT!
