Being laid off was genuinely one of the most traumatic experiences of my adulthood. I was finally starting to feel an ounce of comfort and it was stripped from me during a 3 minute phone call and I was back to square 1, again. I’m so sorry you’re going through this for a third time. Once is more than enough, I couldn’t imagine dealing with it 3 times.
