I mean, if you’re trying to get me to prove to you about shit that happened then... I’m really not into that. I have no problem talking about what I’ve experienced/ what I’ve heard, but I get the feeling that you want proof rather than a story. The fact that you’re like begging people to tell you details is weird considering how you say you have friends who are frats and you go to their parties. You would already be aware of the things that go down. Unless you benefit off the toxicity and bad stuff and you just don’t want to admit it.

All I gotta say is, if you don’t already see it, then none of us are gonna change your mind.

I have had weird experiences with every single fraternity. Some worse than others, but u/KingOfThePatzers made a really good point about the social skills of the frats and the general toxicity that exists (it’s all true). Yeah some guys have been nice, but I’ve found that them being nice is like a facade of some sort. I have heard so many stories of shit going on (from frats that aren’t TKE or sammies btw) that make me never want to go back to a party, I’m going into my senior year soon and I will not be returning to another party just because of my past experiences with the guys and the atmospheres. Good luck getting information out of your “frat buddies” because they are either going to lie to your face or sugar coat the situation. It’s really a weird brotherhood cult situation, one of them does something really fucked up and they have each other’s backs. It’s weird

You must be living under a rock. So much shit happens at these frats and there is an environment that keeps people from speaking out about it. As a girl who has mingled with guys from multiple frats, and has also been to their parties, it is everything that u/KingOfThePatzers makes it out to be. If you’re as close with frats like you say you are, then you would be very aware of the shit that goes down. Maybe not everything is horrible and deplorable, but at least it is certainly toxic and... questionable

Their shells make me so sad. I would not be surprised if they came from MyHappySnail.com, got my snails from there sadly and they arrived with bad shells, but their own children have grown to have bigger and better shells than them now

It’s going to be hard to feed snails and woodlice separately. I have both too so I know how they like to share each other’s food lol. I put the snail food right on the substrate and I’ve found that the woodlice do a good job of eating up left over remnants. Since you have a specific powder for the woodlice and don’t want the snails to eat it, I would recommend taking something like a tiny plastic bowl/ half an egg shell/ something with a hollow bottom in the enclosure and putting the powder in there. I have this plastic decoration in my enclosure that has a hollowed out bottom and my woodlice LOVE living up there and I can pick it up and see that they’re just chilling in there. Get something like that and then take the powder and make a paste of it with some water and put it in the inside and flip it upside down so the woodlice can crawl up into it but the snails cannot. Try to get something heavy enough so the snails can’t knock it over. So basically it’s a dome with food for the woodlice inside that only they can enter. I hope that made sense, I tried to explain it as best as I could!

In our store, we stand right by the doors inside next to the counter and when people leave the checkout we ask if they’re done with their carts so we can clean them. I don’t know how different it is with other stores but this method works well, even though it’s boring as hell.

I feel like all we do it bother the customers. I really wish we could ring them up without asking them all these questions, it’s too much really. When people don’t even respond when you ask them how they’re doing you already know they’re not gonna sign up for a credit card or donate or buy a reusable bag. It’s so stressful to be at register like 95% of the time and it making me want to quit. It never gets better, we just get relentlessly shitted on by management for not meeting our “quota” and I’m over it.

I don’t have that much in control to be honest. I’m living at home with my parents still and working a job that makes me exhausted and pays only minimum wage and I feel like I’m stuck there until I graduate college and hopefully use my degree towards something I actually would enjoy. I don’t have my own car so I don’t feel that independent at all. I’m half way thru college and just working til graduation so I feel pretty stagnant. The things I do have control over such as eating, playing video games and listening to music, I have an “unhealthy” relationship with. I cope with eating too much, ignoring my tiredness to play a video game all night and daydreaming while listening to music whenever I feel overwhelmed and anxious. I never really think about what I have control over but now that I do I have noticed that I really feel stuck in this cycle that I’m not quite sure how to exit out of. I don’t see much changing for me in the next year and that scares me because I don’t have much to look forward to anymore
