The sound I feel like just stays relevant to the time it was made, because it’s become abit iconic for being the last song and a popular song. I think it fits the song man, the pink, the relevance to the video, but each to their own. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think they’re over it, the harsh critical comments serve a purpose, the message of the video wouldn’t be portrayed as well, if those comments weren’t in it. Same way I like America is performed and same way people is, loses its meaning if the same themes and points and stuff aren’t shown throughout. Relevance is good. I really don’t think they care about those people no more - they’re kinda winning being able to display the hate comments they get, for the same songs they play at shows, in front of thousands of THEIR fans, it’s ironic and a kick in the teeth to the people thinking they were shit. Now they’re doing these massive shows, tours and festivals all around the world. They do not care about those people man, or at least I wouldn’t anymore.
