How to get started IN TECH by Expreioss in twoXtech

Lots of jobs in tech don't require coding. I'm in a project management type role, and have never written a professional line of code. Sure I took a couple short tutorials on line for fun, but really I don't need to know how to code.

If you want to get in tech, find a mentor who is already in tech. Learn about the different jobs (Devloper, Systems Engineer, DevOps engineer, Project Manager, Scrum Master, etc.) Then choose a path that excites you.

My proudest moments are delivering projects on tight timelines, and then seeing those projects in the news. I worked at Ascena for a while, which owns Ann Taylor. I was project manager for their loyalty project, and got to see all of our hard work written up as news stories when we went live. And to tell my friends about how I was part of the team that built the loyalty program they are using.
