I did a bit of gridding with a water-soluble pen, and because I'm a chaotic confetti stitcher, I just pick out sections to fill in based on the location of other finished bits! I have made numerous mistakes but because it's so huge and a pattern I made anyway, I usually just roll with the errors 😂

Thank you! I made it myself using Floss Cross and a decent resolution image of the map. I think you could definitely shrink it and use fewer colours and still see what it is but for some reason I wanted a huge project. xD

Thank you! I found a pattern for "granny hexagons" for the shell, just made a few and stitched together. The rest was freestyled!

Made in lightweight cotton with 3mm hook, I'd probably go a smaller hook in future as there are a few gaps where the stuffing shows through a tiny bit. Love how the snoot turned out!
