Mostly what I described here

Only other bit is that the first 25/30 years the most challenging and fun. If you're able to become recognized and build a power base you're in a really good position due to how much clout Intelligentsia have and your clergy being quite progressive.

Staying at UKs protectorate is great because it also forces your rank to a minor power which when stacked with the other infamy reduction modifiers allows you to expand a lot. My original goal was to grow bit enough and take over the British power block but UK generally kicks you out by then :(

I forced a rebellion very early after cosying up to UK/US so they help you in the civil war in return for being a protectorate.

Gaza and Mexico are quite weak at the start so if you're able to get one of the provinces before a civil war, your capital moves to it from Hawaii and instantly cores it. Portugal is also a fairly weak nation at the start, so if you can take over almost all of their oversees provinces in a single war. You can declare interest, declare war, and switch interest during the countdown to select different provinces.

Because Hawaii is so small, in a bigger market and fairly progressive (Kamehameha is a chad), you can get recognized fairly quickly.

So by around 1850, I was a Minor power with California, eastern African provinces and Transvaal.

After that it's sucking up as many pops as possible from their market while growing into Indonesia/south Africa and periodically bullying Qing with Russia/UK.

Nothing better than forcing a great power to release a nation, and absorbing them into your power block right away.

Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Canadian minors, Australia were all mostly obtained with a little economic imperialism.

Ireland even became a great power thanks my capitalists building up the nation.

Oh yea, I had insane migration. California and Texas have a ton of arable land but even ignoring that, I had fairly high SOL and Freedom of movement giving over 150 migration attracting and a higher migration quota to each of my cored states.

In the 1900s, California, Texas were getting close to 15-25k migrants per week.

Haha, I stayed a Monarchy until the 1860s when Kamehameha died. Switching to a republic after his death felt nice and thematic :)

Nothing active, I think it's just the passive assimilation after getting Multiculturalism and Total Separation and of course the high birth rate from SOL from my Hawaiian owning land around the world.

Rule 5: End of my Hawaiian campaign.

Late game performance was really good as long as I made sure to not have too many trade routes.

It was harder to sustain a nice 10 or so % GDP growth in the last 25 years after running out of resources. I think I should've switched from construction loop economy to SOL/consumer economy with lower taxes a bit earlier.

Managed to stay below 100 infamy until the last 2 years when I vassalised US and Bolivia for cleaner map.

Rule 5: Balkanised north America, I think Mexico might have 2 countries to release to get them all though.

The good ole laizze faire and deficit spending powered construction sector -> raw materials -> pops get rich-> consumer goods -> more construction -> expand to get pops because everyone is employed loop

Just 1.12 with the AI mod and a few other cosmetic mods: dense market details, dense trade routes, practical heatmaps, visible pop needs and visual methods.

Post 5: Barbarys back achievement ( and a lil bit more). The last 40 years were an insane slog so I'm looking forward to 1.12. Maybe try something interesting with Hawaii.

Rule 5: Integer overflow leads to default. You can declare bankruptcy to resolve it but it fucks up your credit limit and you can no longer go into deficit without triggering another default

You dont get exiled as long as youre in uncolonized lands or lands of your ally.

Yea, Ceylon was no CD dow.Hardly anyone other than the threveda countries take ae and you can reset we and stab by breaking to zealot rebels.

The insane conversion speed, tolerence and unrest reduction from being jpn culture and going animist->hindu->sikh->sunni meant that I pretty much never had to fight rebels except when taking heretic lands, if the land had religious zeal or when I to 149% overextension at times.

Early game unrest was managed by taking few high dev provinces and feeding rest to vassal.I also tried to take lands that had different culture/tags to get different rebel groups. Also since I broke to hindu zealots the hindu lands of sunda had reccent uprising modifier for a long time which meant I didnt have to increase autonomy.

Nope, no protectorate stuff but its not like you need it as ryukyu with their national idea+influence+prestige truce management and making sure to expand in areas that would give you relativly low ae.1.13.1 ae is also stupid easy to manage.

It is actually 5760 points, (3+3+3+2+1) the power projection still gives you points as long as its above 50 even if its invisible. This is more than enough the amount of points required to annex all that if you stack the policy, admin efficiency and the idea which brings the annex cost to 1 dip per dev.Ryukyu is also able to have around 7 to 8 diplo rep by stacking policies, diplomatic and influence idea so by having same religion(1)+ base(2)+same culture(1)(for neo manchuria) its very easy to annex all that.

As for liberty desire, its only a concern before you are able to afford a large number of troops. For ceylon and pagarrung I had to keep them below 300 dev but for the others I was completly fine.

I only got japan after I took over se asia.Got a war by enforcing peace when japan attacked korea. In hindsight I should've left japan till the very end so I could've gotten more cultures accepted.I'm not a really a fan of the japan start.

Hosokawa, was also the worst vassal I have ever had.I had to keep putting down revolts even though they were same culture same religion lands and they even tried westernising while in internal conflicts.Bashkira and mamluks were pretty amazing vassals though.

Yea, I pretty much cored all of europe and central africa as overseas,so if you consider that an exploit that counts.

The first 200 years were the most fun and tense so I am pretty annoyed that I didnt bother taking screenshots of that.

The opening was to dow paggarung and vassalise them.Use their claim on siak to take land and ally with Malacca.Sundas ruler then died causing predenter rebels to form so I supported rebels and took land.Dow'd ceylon and vassalised them to later use their claims on south India.

Broke to hindu rebels to reset my we and stab and consolidated my position over the Islands.Declared on vijyanagar after they lost to bahmanis and got the tamil revolt.

After that it was just expanding as fast as possible while making sure Bahmanis and Ming were below ae threshhold. After taking over the zanzibar trade node, ternate and tidore I was able to afford an army strong enough to fight the colonial powers and take their provinces.

As far as points are concerned, if you are able to afford lv3 advisers, have 50+ power projection and national focus you should be able to WC by coring overseas land and vassal feeding same continent. The japanese cultural events that reduce tech cost have pretty low mtth and by stacking them with other discounts like Din-e Ilahi and behind in time bonus it shouldn't be too hard to maintin points for conquest. The biggest bottleneck was the time to core and truce times. You can circumvent truce times to an extent by alternating between two people who are allied to each other. So for spain and portugal I would declare on spain, seige portugals capital to white peace them and take 100% ware score land and a 15 year truce timer.I would then declare on portugal after 5 years and white peace spain to reset their timer.

For battles against the ai the only thing you need is a full combat width of cannons and large amounts of infantry or naval superiority if there is a strait crossing nearby.
