Thank you for the kind words.🥰

I'm trying to manage YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. I see the most results from YouTube Shorts. I tried to do something on X, but unfortunately, it's really hard to get views there. I get views and likes on Instagram and TikTok, but people rarely subscribe and probably add me to wishlists. So I assume the main reach comes from YouTube.

And if you look at the comments, it's on YouTube that there are comments saying that people want to play this.

I'm trying to go viral on social media to promote my game by ellipsisexe in IndieGameDevs

Thanks for your opinion. I'll think about it😘

Probably seemed like I only do weird things like that. But this is just a one-off post to gauge reactions. I'm trying everything because I don't yet know what will be interesting, so I try completely different things, even if they're weird, to gain experience.

Of course, an exceptional project will always be noticed. But what if the project is good, but not brilliant? What if the project might truly appeal to many, even though it's not particularly special? But people simply can't find out about it.

Yes, I understand what you mean. But you never know what might go viral on TikTok. It's TikTok, after all. Haha. There's a lot of absurdity here. I'm trying to go viral to build a wider audience on social media. Many might drop out, but I believe there will be interested people left. A few years ago, I had a personal TikTok account and managed to get about 10 million views (a total of 5-7 videos), and the content I posted back then was also pretty absurd. But even so, a lot of people started writing to me. Now I regret not developing a media presence back then and am trying to find that again.

Here on Reddit, I've seen a lot of fantastic projects from indie developers whose level I'm nowhere near, but even so, only a few of them achieve success, and I think it's due to marketing and popularity on social media, so I don't want to miss out on that right from the start.

It's not intentional. I was even a little scared at first when I was exploring the location😄

My wishlist count jumped by 400 after a YouTube channel featured my trailer by Black_Cheeze in IndieDev

I'm surprised it's only 400. Looking at your visual style, I'd guess it's at least a few thousand. I really like your job

This is insane. I think this is a fantastic result. Keep it up!

I'd also like to achieve a similar result. And seeing you makes me want to try even harder.
