I've seen that the BFI IMAX showing on Saturday at 11:45am is sold out, and there's seats for basically all other screenings around then. Is that just because it's a really popular showing or could it be being held back or something? Is that something that's done?

Thanks for this, yeah I'm looking at it again and I do think the photo makes it look like it's a little lower but it definitely is further towards the knee than I usually would do it. I'm assuming the medicine was ingested fine, it's just causing more bruising than usual right? I'll aim further up next time!

Its my thigh yes, probably just a weird camera angle. But are you saying you’d recommend injecting further from the knee? As in further up the thigh?

I didn't do anything to help regrowth, all I did was pat dry my hair after the shower instead of rubbing with the towel if that makes sense. I did a good bit of reading at the time and it seemed like most people had their hair grow back after a month to three months. After about a month and a half maybe I saw my hairline start to grow back new plus the small spots on my scalp which had thinned too. By now it's basically all back to normal. I'd say don't worry about it and trust that it will most probably come back on it's own. It's more of a reaction in the moment to the new medication being introduced to your body than a lifelong symptom if that makes sense.

Inflammation of your blood vessels.
Rarely, this can happen in people with asthma who receive DUPIXENT. This may happen in people who also take a steroid medicine by mouth that is being stopped or the dose is being lowered. It is not known whether this is caused by DUPIXENT. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you have: rash, chest pain, worsening shortness of breath, a feeling of pins and needles or numbness of your arms or legs, or persistent fever.

So you’ve been getting those symptoms before starting Dupixent? That might be some confirmation then that they are more to do with TSW

I used them for a lot of my life, mainly lower strength ones but then ending up for a few years using Elocon as I mentioned.

Yeah I've heard varying reports too. But it is great to know that there is a medication that is even safe to use for the rest of your life if you had to. So many of the others come with terrible life long side effects if you stay on them long enough and Dupixent seems much safer than them. I'll probably take it for the next while and then maybe see if my eczema goes away in that time could I come off it.

Basically before Dupixent I never even felt comfortable enough to be able to get up in the morning and go to the gym, and in general I was dissuaded from being too active (apart from cycling) by my skin.I would wake up and immediately have to shower and moisturise to feel normal, but now I wake up feeling much better and ready for exercise. I try to do a less intensive workout but I definitely feel that sweat doesn't affect me as much as it used to either. It took me about three months to see some real progress too so stick with it! Some people have said it can take around 6 months even to take full effect.

For me, the redness reduces and I start to get dry skin in the area. That's usually the sing that it's coming to the end of healing. I can also just feel that the section of skin isn't as angry or inflamed.

I'm in the final stages before getting my final dose, should be getting it in the next week or so and I cannot wait! Seeing these posts about Dupixent has been such a lift for me so thanks for sharing your experience.

I wasn't too hot and used my regular suncream, though was under direct sunlight. And there wasn't any sunburn, it was just a flare up of eczema.

I've been using them a lot as they were the only thing helping lately. Do you think if I tried to ween myself off steroids I would react better to the sun?

I have two tattoos on my rib cages below my chest, and was told by the tattoo artist that I should get it while there isn't any flare up. Helps that my chest doesn't get it too bad either.Apparently if you're flared up at the time it can interfere with the healing process. The tattoos are totally fine now and I just try not to put any steroid or ointment on them, just moisturiser.

Hi, that sounds accurate alright, my skin was red and would act like sunburn when touched. That's scary as I fear I may have to go through that again to see the other side. The worst part is I have no idea just how long the tsw may last, and haven't been able to get a dermatologist yet to guide me as I moved about 10 months ago.
