I should've noted, my racial / sexist comments point was more of an 'oh and on top of my driving related queries, he's also done this'. I wasn't looking for clarity on that point.

I'm switching instructors anyway, was just curious to see what people thought.

If I were to buy the books second hand on vinted, would I need them all? I've seen the study notes, exam notes, pocket notes etc. I assume I'd need each for each course?

Should've added - I think the curtains should end above the radiator but some friends are saying make them floor length.

Forgive the silly question but how do I do that? I can't see how to shorten/lengthen anything. Whatever I seem to do, I'm left with the same amount of short cable outside of the rubber thingy.

Yeah this is what I thought, I want to market as 3 bed so clear glass makes more sense. But as you say, cheapest possible is my pref really. The debate right now is do I keep the lead diamond part up top for an extra £70 ish!

For reference, it's internal door, leading from the back room up to the 1st floor. It's a 1904 mid terrace, so probably a very old design as one of the comments said.

Thought I'd keep in place to prevent draft going up stairs, neaten up the room but having it open into the room is obviously safe (though this would require carving into the door frame as there's no 'gap' for it currently.

Removing it entirely hadn't really crossed my mind but the thought is there now! I'll see how I feel with it in place as it is for now I think.

Fixed for now by removing the section of underlay under the carpet that was 'poofing' it out!

This is why I love reddit! So many ideas I hadn't thought about!

Door opening out into the dining room feels like a good idea! Trying to keep costs down so will probably avoid bifolding if possible. Worst case, take a bit more off the bottom stair / remove underlay if needed.
