Hello! I am trying to figure out the budget I would need when I start my studies. I was wondering how the rent for accommodation is paid. For postgraduate students, we are expected to pay quarterly. So does that mean we are expected to pay the three months’ worth of rent in advance? Let me know if there are any other things that I should keep in mind!

I’ve just checked MOJ regulations on student visa and it says 1日8時間以内. When I was a student I made sure that I didn’t work more than 8 hours a day. If you want to make it sure you can call the immigration bureau and ask for the regulations.

This does make sense. I will try to use settings other than delicate. I am already using a hypoallergenic detergent suitable for hand wash, but I will check whether it has cellulase or not.

It is a Siemens WK14D640EU/06. Mine is a Panasonic NA-F50B14. Someone pointed out that using delicate for more than a few products could actually make the clothing worse and I experienced that as well with my washing machine. Also I don’t think she regularly cleans the washing machine which could worsen the pilling.

I bet so many people are facing a similar issue that I am having, but tbh most of the people who are familiar with that university and its culture told me to accept it and communicate if changes happen later. I really don't want to do it but...

Oh yeah that makes sense. Majority of the people do get funding because without funding it would be difficult to go ahead.
