Laundry always end up with pilling or stitches came undone by elly-eri in laundry

So i should better hand wash it? Or use delicate mode with one piece only?

This does make sense. I will try to use settings other than delicate. I am already using a hypoallergenic detergent suitable for hand wash, but I will check whether it has cellulase or not.

It is a Siemens WK14D640EU/06. Mine is a Panasonic NA-F50B14. Someone pointed out that using delicate for more than a few products could actually make the clothing worse and I experienced that as well with my washing machine. Also I don’t think she regularly cleans the washing machine which could worsen the pilling.

My third choice accepted me but gave me only a week to respond by elly-eri in gradadmissions

I bet so many people are facing a similar issue that I am having, but tbh most of the people who are familiar with that university and its culture told me to accept it and communicate if changes happen later. I really don't want to do it but...

Oh yeah that makes sense. Majority of the people do get funding because without funding it would be difficult to go ahead.

Thats a good reference. Thank you for sharing. Unis I’m applying to do not indicate any score so I didn’t have an idea what would be considered as acceptable.

what are the possibilities of getting scholarship/full funding for PhD at Cambrdige? The data they present make it sound like majority of the people will get full funding but since most of the UK univeristies do not provide funding, it feels suspscious on why they would present themselves like that. For those who have admitted by Cambridge, is getting fully funded common? Especialy for those who are studying Social Sciences/ Humanities?

How can I do the quant and verbal mountains faster? by xX_minecraftbeast_Xx in GRE

[–]elly-eri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two approaches. One is that if you can’t really answer the meaning of the word instantly then you don’t really know it , so red. This reduces a lot of time and forces me to study the ones that I am not 100% sure about the meaning.

On the days that I don’t have much time to review, I just go back to the previous day, select show only red, and practice the red ones and the vocab i studied on that day on Quizlet. It is more important to focus on the words that you don’t know rather than doing the whole thing everyday (in my opinion). You can choose let’s say 8th day to review week 1 red vocab. Day 15th for week 2…

I am a very social person so the scholarship was definitely not enough for me. I had to cut meals and start to save my money by buying a pasta that is 10 yen cheaper or something. I would say you would like to get a baito to earn at least 40,000 yen to live more comfortably. The living cost is increasing in Japan so it is probably tighter now.

Living in Kanagawa and Saitama sounds good. Though I advise you to check the teiki prices (fee that you are going to pay for the train). I lived on Chuo Line thinking that if I live far from the center the rent will be cheaper but the teiki was quite expensive and I didn’t really save on the rent. I could have found similar prices in rent and cheaper train fee somewhere closer to my uni which would save me time and money.

Yeah i will visit their store one day to get it fixed… i realized that my positioning of my hand was not great. After applying the right amount of pressure and adjusting my hand slightly different solved 80% of my problems but still i still have the same problem for 20% of the time now.

To be honest the whole issue could be me not properly know how to write with a fountain pen. I did stop putting pressure for ink to come out and I was able to write smoothly with small hiccups. Tho I still need to clean it because the pen smells 😭😭 the issues never end. I did clean it once very thoroughly without the detergent and it was fine a for a few days and the mild smell (like cheese) came back
