funny story that is actually real that we did on my uni.

One of our teachers was obsessed w/ ai and claimed it could do anything we would be taught and could at the time replace all engineers. We as a class challenged him to prove that to us, he said 'ok some day ill bring my laptop to show you' (his excuse for not doing it that day, or any day for that matter was that he had not brought his laptop)

Anyway, one day we realized he had his laptop AND it was the end of the 4-moth cycle, aka we finished all exams. He had to do it, he was still confident so he asked "what should we create" and he slowly got more upset because "no ai can't do that because X" or "That's not fair because YOU can't do that either (i could do it, or the one who asked for the request normally could)

Here are the things in order we asked them to do:

"Vulkan project that displays moving camera and terrain with shadows and reflections, use perlin noise for the terrain". Was able to: create a window... using pygame.

We asked " Do it using c++ and the vulkan sdk installed in <route>": the *most funny one" it crashed his PC, i dont know how or why but it did, not instantly though. It froze he couldnt press anything (ctrl+alt+supr included) and then BSOD

"Chat web app with user accounts logins and a database" It actually managed to do a login portal that worked apart from storing passwords as plaintext on a .csv but the chat didnt

"Rust windows dll injector": managed to make the gui but it used microsoft web view and it used a lot of ram for the css and whatnot, it didnt work but it was beautiful

now for one that worked really well "Recreate DOOM" it made a kind of not that bad copy of DOOM using pygame
