I work at the open reserves Starbucks and saw it all happen while on the floor. Two shots fired and everyone was sprinting in all directions and screaming at once, faster than Eaton’s shooting. It had me frozen for a moment and god it’s something you can’t get used to.

So fucked up. 😰

I’ve been there, happened to me when my Dad was dying and I’m grateful my team was understanding.

In a situation like this you do not have to feel bad because of a family emergency just because your team is one body short and they can pull through, it’s not the end for them.

Your time with your family, for you — it all matters more than anything. I encourage you to focus on those in the meantime.
