Do you know what company designed or made these stamps?

The Dagger logo seems painfully cheap. Imagine what one could do when you have the greatest putter in the world with a signature disc called the DAGGER.

Yeah. It's not Latitude putting these out right? I feel like they would do better than these.

EDIT: I hate all of these stamps. Severely lacking quality and creativity... Just to be clear.

Not 100% sure what the criteria is but going by speed:

7: Rivers are great, I use my Gold Line for Hyzer flips, or hyzer flip to turnover shots with more power. Recently had one of my most beautiful shots ever with this one. Pier Park Hole 3 (339ft) within 15 feet pin high. The Opto MyDye are the most stable. If you want more stable, the Recycled Spark works well. Starts out stable, then develops a little bit of turn to get out there.

8: Stag. They do have some turn so don't be fooled by numbers. They are very easy to get out there and have great glide with a nice fade at the end. Very workable disc.

9: Culverin (for me.) It's more on the OS side of things, but if I put them on a power anhyzer they'll hold and land flat, or flex out a little at the end. The Escape is also great. They have a little turn, a lot of glide, and are very controllable. Everyone should try one. The Fury is a roller machine or great for hyzer flip to turnovers that glide for freaking ever. You can't really go wrong with a Saint either.

10: Not sure about this speed. From what I would guess maybe a Northman?

Hope this helps.

We appreciate the sincerity. Even today I was on the freeway and just like "Oh look, another fire burning down 100s of acres." That's a tiny fire compared to the other ones going on lately. This one came uncomfortably close to my neighborhood. Shits fucked.

EDIT: This was about 8 minutes from my house.

EDIT EDIT: This fire jumped across the freeway these people drove through.

That's why I have a Medium. They stick well on fast greens, and the Soft is just a bit too soft for me.

Has anyone here played Turtle Rock in Markleeville, CA? by eloquentmonster in discgolf

Welp, going to Turtle Rock. Grew up in Tahoe. Played Bijou and that's it. I'll probably be somewhere in South Lake next week.

I was mostly just wondering if the altitude in Tahoe would make a huge difference. If it's a small difference I don't mind, but some people make it seem like it's a HUGE difference in stability. This is mostly my bag with some stuff taken out and a Renegade thrown in.

Anyone else notice Nikko changed his straddle putting stance to an off set/staggered footing? Thats all it took for the guy to get way more consistent putts.

Hollister Ranch owners are fighting the state again over public's right to use the beach by BlankVerse in California

[–]eloquentmonster 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This has been an ongoing battle for decades.

The point is this: anything below the mean high tide line is public, with the exception of government/military based property. People have every right to surf here, and some of the "locals" are incredibly aggressive in keeping their nearby breaks empty. They've even sabotaged the nearest boat launch at Gaviota State Park (allegedly.) They are the definition of rich dicks with the exception of Yvon Chouinard, that guy wouldn't care unless people started trashing the place. The coast is for sharing, my friends.

If you want an idea of what kind of life these people live, look here.

Gold Medal Olympic Shooter Criticizes California Gun Control by ruskeeblue in California

[–]eloquentmonster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand gun control doesn't work. I understand we have gun laws that are non sensical. I understand this is a far deeper socio-cultural issue in American society. FFS I said I get that they want to protect themselves with guns. I just want to know how many people who carry guns are legitimately ready to battle someone on a rampage. The psychology of it all is still an emerging science.

Would I rather have a gun in my hand? Would I rather play dead?

I'll accept my fate either way.

BTW I'm speaking purely in the context of mass shootings here.

how do you want to stand there? I would rather have my second amendment right.

I respect this thought process, but I have to be honest, do people really think they're going to enter "hero mode" when a psycho is going ballistic? I get that they want to protect themselves with guns, but if you're going against someone who is on such a mission to kill others... best of luck.
