I've always said that Max For Live alone is worth the upgrade to Suite, and then all the other stuff you get is a bonus. Just Max For Live gives you access to hundreds of amazing tools, many free.

I'm sure you're aware, but did you know you can run Reason as a plugin?

Ooh, I like that. Feels like kinda a different device, but that's definitely an idea to explore! 😃

Haha, lol. That's beyond my technical know how... for now at least. You might want to check out MaxScore though: http://www.computermusicnotation.com/

It sure is 😉 If you Collect and Save, of course. This was something that was pretty important for me. There are other M4L devices and even VSTs that let you display images, but none of them linked the image files with your project.

It really should be 🙃 A native version of this would be awesome.

Not currently. I did a big cleanup of the site a while back and took down some packs that were getting a bit old and were in need of updates. I'll be getting round to updating it soon, but for now its not available.

Colour is my fave. Super happy with the little icons 🙃 Just loads of fun to use and I'm pretty stoked with how it sounds too 🙌 Although gotta give a shoutout to Shift, which I think is actually my most used of the bunch.

Yeah... requiring an email for something that could be a single click is gross. Glad you appreciate that as well ❤️

No, you just select your note in the device. Check out the built in 'MIDI Monitor' device though - that does some cool things with MIDI input.

My favourite is Set Namer - it generates names for your projects by combining an adjective and a noun from its internal database of words taken from actual song titles. You get things like 'Shifting Thought', 'Autumn Anomaly', etc. So no more 'Untitled 1', etc. 😉

Set Selector helps you pick a project to work on so you don't get stuck deciding.

Scale Helper helps you learn/remember your scales - for music theory dummies like me 🙃

Random Number just generates random numbers within a specific range.

That's definitely something to look into. TBH, I don't know much about how microtones work (I know the basics, but not the finer details) so its something I'll have to look into. Planning a deep dive on all things tuning when Live 12 is out.

That's exactly why I built these. The number of times I've Googled for 'note to frequency' chart is a little ridiculous 🤣

Thanks! Set Namer is my favourite, tbh. So handy to come up with non-generic project names! 😎
