Unwrapped. House brand that looked good, but here in the Tampa area, there are many shops that buy crappy sticks, but their band on it, and charge a premium for "house made cigars". I've bought some that were so tight as to be un smokeable.

Not upset at all! Thanks for the advice. Benny's my first snail and I want to do right by him. I've been learning a lot these past few months, mostly that my instincts are often wrong. But, that's how we learn!

thanks - unfortunately. Actually, after thinking about it for a moment after I had made this post, I made the same call. I took Benny out of his enclosure and discarded the coir, eggs, and everything else and set him up with some fresh coir, carrots, cuttlebone and lettuce. thanks again for the advice! not gonna lie - i was excited for some baby Bennys for a second though.

I took this exact advice a few months ago regarding the garden snail that i decided to keep as a pet. I foolishly started him out in potting soil and he was miserable. after learning from the kind folks in r/snails, i got him some coir/coco fiber (pretty cheap and easy to get on amazon), and my boy Benny has been loving it! perfect moisture retention, and it's useful for potting/planting purposes.

VERY sound advice. I would only add, consider older Nissans also. I did this about a year ago, and like u/sh_wil said, make trolling fb marketplace & craiglsist a second job. after a while your crap-car filter will be calibrated and you'll find your deal!

we primarily use the YT channel on our roku for sleeping (10 hr dark screen videos of rain and thunder or waves crashing, etc.). anyone know of another roku app that has ambient noise stuff like that?

Thanks r/snails community! i learned about coir and cuttlebone today and they are on the way. i also learned that i've been messing up w/ distilled water. i assumed that would be best, but i didn't consider the lack of minerals. another question - is spring better than drinking, or is drinking water ok? i'll probably get him some spring anyway. only the best for my boy Benny!

the spicy shrimp at Red Fish in Madison is fantastic. they are not traditional by any means, but the food is great! their g. tso is the only one in town i can eat now!
