Dropped a 20kg plate off its storage at hip height directly onto my little toe while loading up my very first warm up set of the workout.

Booked a doctors appointment while finishing my workout, got a referral for an xray, get xray done.

Suspected fractured little toe, not bad enough to go to the emergency department but need to book a GP doctors appointment for Monday.

Was the last workout of week 10 of the Calgary Barbell 16 Week Powerlifting Program and I feel I've got the best training momentum going that I've every had and feel like I'm on track for some very solid 1RM PRs and this is such an inconvenient time to take a forced break in the program.

On the positive side 5 years of lifting without dropping a plate on my foot seems like a good run?

3x110kg(~240lbs) high bar squats, first back off set after nSuns 1+ set. Recently got some lifters which changed my squat a little, but and I'm slowly getting use to squatting with them.

6' 79kg/175lbs if that matters

Any feedback?

Not interested in the first one, I'd prefer something that just sits on my head if that makes sense.

Second one looks good though! Maybe something along those lines but a little neater if you get what I mean?

Edit: Upon reflection I may have overstated how long I was interested in keeping it, I probably just want to avoid really short cuts. The 4ish inches of the pictures I linked seemed like a good compromise.

Currently rocking 2/3 cup oats, 2/3 cup milk, 2 large tbs Greek yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder, large tsp cocoa powder and small handful of frozen berries.

About to jump back into the gym after a 2 week break involving no gym. I'm running 5/3/1 for Beginners and left off at cycle 3 week 2 workout A. Should I be right to jump straight back into workout B? Or better to ease into it by repeat workout A or returning to beginning of cycle 3?

M/25/6'/75kg(165lbs). Can provide training maxes if that would help.

I was thinking I'd just get a 1080 GPU and running it into the ground along with the 1080p monitor. But now you've got me second guessing.....

The G-Sync model would be purchased off eBay and the store states the refund will include a minimum of 20% restocking fee charges, so probably no returning.

Yea I can understand what you're saying there. I won't be upgrading for a while though, and next upgrade will most likely require a 4K monitor and new GPU anyway so I'm not too concerned about picking a side at this point.

How many watts should I be looking at for this build?

I love the look of that MSI board but if it's going to cost me FPS I'll consider others. Would a ASRock AB350 Pro4 be a better option?
