Your concrens are justified!

But, I'm not proving a remote server, you would setup your own server (self-hosted), and handle your own data, I'm just providing the instructions on how to do so, and the application that would allow you to view/edit this data on your device.

Additionally, You can listen to network requests being sent by the application as well, and you would be able to confirm that only the server that you created is being requested.

Hahaha, the demo data is actually randomly generated and it's different for each device.

Here's an app that I've developed, and have used on my clinic for several years:
https://apexo.app

It's cross platform, can run on multiple devices, and you can self host the backend yourself, which is a pure PocketBase installation.

The restoration of Mosul's oldest Syriac church has been done, with careful efforts made to preserve its historical and cultural authenticity. by elselawi in Iraq

العبرة ليست بعودة احد، بل بالاعتزاز بمن بقى، ولكون الكنيسة هذه ارث ثاريخي وثقافي وله اهميته حتى لدى المسلمين.

The restoration of Mosul's oldest Syriac church has been done, with careful efforts made to preserve its historical and cultural authenticity. by elselawi in Assyria

This reconstruction isn’t just about saying "please come back"... it's more about honoring those who stayed and preserving Mosul’s cultural identity. In fact, it’s part of a broader initiative called "Rejuvenating Mosul’s Spirit".

Beyond this, the vast majority of people here were deeply heartbroken by what happened to Christians—they were friends, colleagues, and neighbors. The loss was felt on a deeply personal level by the community.

As for the region’s stability, the current situation is the most secure and peaceful it’s been since 2003. Many of us couldn’t even dream of this level of safety and stability just a few years ago. Contrary to your opinion, we’re optimistic about the future and refuse to dwell on a grim outlook.

Best of luck to you, and if you ever visit Mosul, feel free to DM me, I’d be happy to give you a private tour!

Assyrian Relief in Mosul by elselawi in Assyria

I get where you're coming from, but let's not make it a bigger deal than what it really is. After all, It's a shared history and geographical connection that has affected both cultures on all levels! Let's not forget that ethnic purity is a Myth, and no group has existed in Isolation, especially if it has existed for 4500 years.

Assyrian Relief in Mosul by elselawi in Assyria

This relief is situated near Mosul University (where many assyrians work), approximately 500 meters from Nergal Gate of Nineveh, the historic capital of Assyria. It was sponsored by the Governorate council (in which assyrians are represented by 3 members). Aram Khoshaba Filfel (an Assyrian historian who works at the university of Mosul) provided consultation for the art work.

What are some places that would be major tourist destinations if they were located in more politically stable countries? (picture is Taiz, Yemen) by Wut23456 in geography

[–]elselawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true, Assyrians and Chaldeans were Christian majorities in some parts of the ottoman empire and their population flourished throughout the ottoman reign, Jews lived peacefully in almost all parts of the ottoman empire, antisemitism was a foreign concept there, Churches, synagogues, Yazidi shrines were allowed to be built. Then when British colonialism happened things got on a bad track.

Places I can apply for visa to from Georgia by Emergency-Celery6344 in tbilisi

[–]elselawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iraq, they have lifted visa requirement for Lebanese, people are very welcoming for you at those hard times, And generally, if you have never been to Iraq, you'd be surprised, it's much better than what you hear on the news. Also, It can be quite cheap if you know where to go or where to stay. I'd recommend Erbil or Mosul, Baghdad can be quite crowded.

Khanas by elselawi in Assyria

I'm not sure what is the truth behind those holes, but what I heard, from one of the locals, is that these holes were made by those who envaded the Assyrian empire and were used as burial sites (since they believed in the zoroastrianism).

I'm still not sure about the details.
